Voiceflex launches Voiceflex Protect, powered by Trustd

May 2023 – Voiceflex, a multi-award winning and leading telecoms carrier of SIP, Hosted, Connectivity, and Unified Communications and Collaboration services, is pleased to announce the partnership with mobile cybersecurity company Traced. Voiceflex Protect, is powered by Trustd - Traced’s award-winning mobile threat defence app – and its launch will provide Voiceflex’s channel partners with a privacy-first solution that delivers immediate protection against mobile-borne threats, like phishing and malware, on their customers’ smartphones and tablets.

In 2023, businesses are increasingly exposed to the risks of costly data breaches and cyber-attacks arising from mobile threats like mobile phishing, which rose 700% in the first half of 2021,[1] and malware apps, of which 23% of mobile devices encountered last year.[2] As a result, Mobile Threat Defence has become a fundamental requirement for any business whose employees access company data from mobiles. But Mobile Threat Defence solutions can be complex to manage, offer limited protection, and be privacy-invasive.

Since it was established in 2005, Voiceflex has grown to become an award-winning communications provider with over 900 channel partners, a number that is increasing year-on-year. Its partners have always been at the core of what Voiceflex does and offering high-quality solutions is essential. Hence, Voiceflex has teamed up with Traced to provide businesses with an MTD solution that is easy to set up, offers deep and broad protection, and respects employee privacy.

James Arnold-Roberts said, “Hybrid working is now the norm, businesses are transitioning to all IP services, and we’re living in an online, device-led world. As we increasingly use our devices for personal and work, our devices have become a key target for cybercriminals to gain access to business credentials. Naturally, security and privacy are major priorities for many businesses, and Voiceflex is no exception. We continue our aim to release new products alongside UCaaS Voiceflex Flow in order to better serve the channel and hybrid working needs of today’s customers. Voiceflex Protect is testament of this and working with Traced means our partners and their customers can mitigate against cyber threats.”

Traced’s unique AI-powered mobile protection application is built for the needs of all mobile users and offers the best possible security protection against malware, phishing, and data theft. Its deep learning engine detects both known and unknown malicious apps and has identified and stopped several new phishing scams. It also allows businesses to balance the security requirements of mobile devices with the users’ expanding privacy expectations. As a result, customers can achieve 100% adoption even if they already utilise Mobile Device Management (MDM) or are having trouble implementing a BYOD strategy due to concerns about security, employee privacy, and compliance since Trustd places employee privacy at its centre.

Benedict Jones, CEO Traced, commented, “With business-targeted mobile threats abounding and posing heightened risks to businesses, it’s more important than ever for organisations to protect against them. Our goal at Traced is to provide peace-of-mind to organisations and their employees when using their mobiles for work. Teaming up with Voiceflex allows us to achieve this goal as Voiceflex Protect is powered by Trustd’s cutting-edge threat detection technologies. This means that Voiceflex’s partners can quickly, easily and effectively manage their customers’ exposed risks to mobile threats and prevent costly breaches.”
